UCLA – Book presentation: Women and Philanthropy

February 20, 2020 @ 9:30 am - 1:00 pm

In partnership with the
UCLA History Department,
we warmly invite you to our

Winter Business Meeting & Program

Celebrating 100 Years of

Women Gaining the Right to Vote

Join us for a presentation by

Ellen DuBois, UCLA Distinguished
Emeritus Professor of History and Gender,

who will share stories and facts about how women
demanded the right to vote.

In honor of the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment
to the Constitution, Professor DuBois has a new book,
Suffrage: Women’s Long Battle for the Vote, which explores the
full scope of the movement to win the vote for women through portraits of its bold leaders and devoted activists.
Copies will be available for you to purchase.
