Burbank Library: Illustrated Talk on Women’s Suffrage, March 12, 2020

I was the host for the last public event held at Burbank Public Library with Dr. Ellen DuBois on her illustrated talk on Women’s Suffrage, March 12, 2020.

I really want to give kudos to Dr. DuBois for coming out in the rain storm to give her talk. We were all on pins and needles as we were trying to determine if the talk would even take place.

Our co-hosts were the Glendale/Burbank League of Women’s Voters, and they added a nice touch to the event.

I was very pleased that we sold 1/2 of our inventory of books! Even with such a small turn out.
