Today, August 18, 2020, marks the 100 year anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment, granting women the right to vote. Andrea Mitchell reports on the history of the women’s suffrage movement, and how the right to vote for Black women remained a struggle for years after, through the 1965 Voting Rights Act and beyond.
